Position Overview
We’re looking for a passionate, strategic VIP Client Development Manager who thrives on building relationships, digging deeper into existing VIP accounts, and uncovering new opportunities to grow our business. This role goes beyond relationship management — you’ll also drive the growth of our e-procurement partnerships, managing the development of API integrations with our tech team to secure preferred vendor status with current clients and open doors to thousands of potential new customers.
Key Responsibilities
• Relationship Management: Build, strengthen, and own relationships with VIP clients, acting as their primary point of contact and ensuring their needs are met with urgency and excellence.
• Strategic Growth: Identify and execute opportunities to expand existing accounts through upselling, cross-selling, and by showcasing our exclusive custom branding capabilities.
• E-Procurement Partnerships: Develop strategic e-procurement relationships, overseeing the creation of APIs and technology integrations with our tech team to achieve preferred vendor status, maximizing existing client revenues and unlocking new markets.
• Client Insights: Gather and analyze feedback and data from VIP clients to understand their needs and pain points, using these insights to shape strategy and continuously improve our offerings.
• Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product, and operations teams to deliver tailored, seamless solutions.
• Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations and contract renewals, securing agreements that foster long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships.
• Performance Metrics: Develop and track KPIs to monitor the health, engagement, and growth of VIP accounts and procurement partnerships.
• Reporting: Provide clear, strategic updates to leadership on partnership performance and growth opportunities. • Industry Networking: Stay on top of industry trends, competitor moves, and new technologies to ensure our clients stay ahead.
Qualifications
• 5+ years in VIP or high-value client management, partnerships, or business development.
• Strong experience developing and executing strategic account growth plans.
• Familiarity with e-procurement platforms, vendor management systems, or API-driven solutions is a major plus.
• Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
• Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient with CRM systems and analytics tools.
• Self-motivated and thrives both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
