Job SummaryWe are seeking a professional and skilled Dispatcher to join our team. In this role, you will receive emergency and non-emergency calls and make quick decisions to ensure the proper action is taken. The ideal candidate is highly organized with the ability to multi-task and work well under pressure.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and dispatch service technicians to customer locations in a timely manner.
- Manage the scheduling of appointments and communicate effectively with both technicians and customers.
- Communicate effectively with technicians, clients, and vendors to address any issues or changes in schedules.
- Handle incoming calls from customers, answering questions and addressing concerns.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of service calls, customer interactions, and technician locations.
- Work closely with the sales and installation teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Perform data entry tasks related to service requests.
- Monitor the performance/progress of each job and update customers on status as needed.
- Uphold high standards of phone etiquette while interacting with customers and team members.
Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED
- Previous experience as a Dispatcher or in a similar position
- Excellent typing and data entry skills
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Familiarity with computer systems and dispatch software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey information.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
- Ability to adapt quickly
- Positive and friendly attitude
