POSITION SUMMARY
The Lead, Change Management & IT Corporate Communications serves as a key strategic partner within HSA's evolving Corporate Portfolio Management Office (CPMO). This individual plays a pivotal role in enabling project delivery success, driving adoption, and ensuring effective communication across enterprise-wide IT initiatives.
Responsible for shaping the internal identity and voice of HSA's Corporate IT department, the Lead will craft and execute communication strategies that resonate with stakeholders ranging from corporate executives and hospital leadership to frontline staff in our facilities and clinics. Through thoughtful messaging, change enablement plans, and cross-functional collaboration, this role fosters alignment, engagement, and readiness across the organization.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop Change Management Strategies: Create and implement change management plans that maximize employee adoption and minimize resistance.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Identify and engage with stakeholders to understand their needs and concerns, ensuring their involvement and support throughout the change process.
- Communication Planning: Develop and execute communication plans to keep all stakeholders informed about the changes, their impacts, and the benefits.
- Training and Support: Design and deliver training programs to equip employees with the necessary skills and knowledge to adapt to changes.
- Change Impact Analysis: Assess the impact of changes on the organization and its processes and develop strategies to mitigate any negative effects.
- Monitor and Evaluate: Track the progress of change initiatives and evaluate their effectiveness, making adjustments as needed to ensure successful outcomes.
- Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement by regularly reviewing and refining change management processes and practices.
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's Degree A bachelor's degree in business administration, project management, organizational development, or a related field. Master's Degree preferred, MBA or related field can be advantageous.
- Change Management Certification: Certification such as the Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP) or Prosci Change Management preferred.
- Certifications like Project Management Professional (PMP) or Program Management Management (PgMP) can also beneficial.
SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience in enterprise change management and corporate communications within healthcare or complex organizations.
- Familiarity with hospital IT environments, particularly EHR, ERP, and infrastructure-related programs
- Strong writing, storytelling, and public speaking skills across executive, clinical, and technical audiences.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, multi-hospital system environments with competing priorities.
- Ability to lead and influence others, driving change initiatives and gaining buy-in from stakeholders.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey information and engage with diverse audiences.
- Ability to analyze complex situations, identify potential challenges, and develop effective solutions.
- Able to adapt to changing circumstances and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving skills to address issues that arise during the change process.
- High level of emotional intelligence to understand and manage the emotions of oneself and others during times of change.
