We are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team on a contract basis in Coconut Creek, Florida. In this role, you will handle a variety of financial tasks, including managing accounts receivable and payable, creating invoices, and ensuring timely payments. Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts receivable processes, including billing customers and ensuring timely collection of payments.

• Prepare and issue invoices using QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise 2024.

• Oversee accounts payable tasks, ensuring accuracy and timely payments.

• Perform bank reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.

• Record and maintain journal entries for monthly expenses and other financial transactions.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial operations and reporting.

• Process purchase orders and manage order volumes efficiently.

• Assist in tracking and documenting customer orders and related financial data.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all financial activities.

• Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles, preferably in a commercial or manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise 2024.
• Strong knowledge of accounts receivable and accounts payable processes.
• Ability to perform accurate bank reconciliations and maintain financial records.
• Familiarity with creating journal entries and managing monthly expenses.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Degree in Accounting or related field preferred but not required; hourly rate varies based on qualifications.
