Job Summary:

The Account Executive is responsible for managing client relationships and ensuring the seamless execution of projects from initial quote through final delivery. The position is responsible for guiding customers through the quoting process, converting opportunities into purchase orders, and overseeing every step of production, packaging, and shipment. Acting as the main point of contact, the ideal candidate is comfortable managing complex projects, leading customer conversations, and working cross-functionally with internal departments.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Manages and owns portfolios of domestic accounts, acts as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts
  • Builds and maintains strong customer relationships by being responsive, proactive and solution-oriented
  • Prepares quotes and obtains all required documentation and information to facilitate the quotation process
  • Provides clear, timely updates to clients on order status, pricing, inventory, testing, shipping, etc.
  • Handles customer inquiries, concerns and complaints
  • Works closely with internal departments to ensure clients needs are met and exceeded
  • Sends samples directly to existing or new clients
  • Tracks and manages customer-owned inventory
  • Maintains accurate records for each customer (quotes, orders, prices, packaging, specifications, complaints)
  • Provides feedback to management regarding status of accounts
  • Purchase order and invoice processing
  • Proactively identify new business opportunities and support outreach to prospective clients
  • Other duties assigned by the immediate Supervisor

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree in Science or Business. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 2-3 years of experience in account management and sales
  • Proficient in Outlook and Microsoft Office ( Word, Excel)
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and in a timely manner
  • High attention to detail and a customer-first mindset
