Job DescriptionWe are looking for a highly skilled Project Controller, Sr. to join our team in Juno Beach, Florida. This long-term contract role offers an exciting opportunity for professionals with expertise in financial reporting, forecasting, and project management within the construction and engineering sectors. The ideal candidate will bring a detail-oriented approach to managing financial operations and have a strong background in accounting and capital management.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare comprehensive financial and operational reports for plant or site-level operations with minimal supervision.
• Manage daily accounting tasks, including journal entries, consolidations, and accurate reporting across project entities.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards while performing unitization activities and asset reporting.
• Forecast site financials and prepare quarterly tax provisions in a timely manner.
• Collaborate on budgeting and forecasting processes by organizing and analyzing relevant financial data.
• Conduct variance analyses to evaluate actual results against projections, providing actionable insights.
• Develop and maintain Excel-based financial models to support trend analysis and future performance projections.
• Track project costs meticulously and forecast expenditures to maintain budget compliance.
• Create and present detailed financial reports and presentations for senior management.
• Support cost and schedule risk analysis, offering input for financial and operational decision-making.• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling and data analysis.
• Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes.
• Experience in project cost tracking and variance analysis.
• Familiarity with accounting policies and practices applicable to large-scale projects.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to effectively present financial data and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Master’s degree in Accounting or a related field is preferred.
