SUMMARY
We are seeking energetic and mindful Team Members to represent Urban Jungalow's vibe and vision. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment, have a passion for wellness, and love delivering standout service. Team Members are responsible for providing first-class guest interactions, executing operational excellence, and upholding our brand values. A strong candidate will be reliable, upbeat, and ready to grow with us.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Deliver a warm and memorable GUEST experience
- Learn the ingredients and benefits of our vegan, gluten free, wellness-focused menu
- Follow all Urban Jungalow brand standards and operating procedures
- Maintain store cleanliness and organization throughout the shift
- Support food prep, beverage production (hot & cold beverages), and grab-and-go merchandising
- Follow batch recipes, portion guidelines, and product labeling procedures
- Be punctual, detail-oriented, and focused on quality
- Stay adaptable in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting
- Maintain high standards of safety, sanitation, and sustainability throughout the shift
- Positively receive and implement feedback
- Assist with opening, closing, and side work responsibilities
- Operate kitchen and barista equipment with confidence, safety, and accuracy
- Contribute to opening, closing, and side work duties with attention to detail
- Model a positive, professional, and inclusive work ethic
PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Exposure to hot and cold environments
- Ability to stand for long periods and move freely in a compact workspace
- Frequent use of hands, arms, sight, and hearing
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 lbs
- Flexibility to bend, reach, and stoop throughout the day
SHIFT TIMES
Shifts may include:
6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
3:00 PM – 9:00 PM
3:30 PM – 9:30 PM
Weekend availability is required for this position.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Barista and/or kitchen prep experience preferred
- Authorized to work in the United States
- ServSafe certification or equivalent preferred
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs, stand for extended periods, and multitask effectively
- Genuine enthusiasm for wellness, hospitality, and sustainability
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Team-oriented and dependable
- Basic proficiency with POS systems and mobile apps
- Willingness to learn and grow within a dynamic concept
