Qualifications:
- Must have a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) with a focus in environmental science, environmental health, or physical or biological science.
- This is a professional environmental specialist position requiring the employee to perform tasks that include: permit application reviews; site evaluations; data entry and analysis; and report writing.
- Having a CEHP is highly recommended but is not required. Our office provides training to help you get certified as a CEHP.

Key Responsibilities:
- Consult with owners and builders regarding the installation of OSTDS.
- Investigate field conditions of proposed septic system installation locations.
- Perform soil analysis and site surveys.
- Conduct required environmental health inspections and evaluations for compliance with applicable Florida Statues, Florida Administration Code, and county ordinances in the OSTDS Program.
- Review and assist with septic permit applications.
- Maintain a company vehicle.

- Ability to travel to various locations in Southwest Florida, up to 100+ miles a day in all weather conditions
