Job Title: Customer Service Representative – Healthcare
Location: Maitland, FL
Pay Rate: $19/hour
Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire
Work Model: Hybrid (after training and trial period)
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our healthcare team. The CSR will serve as the first point of contact for patients, medical professionals, and family members, ensuring their needs are assessed, prioritized, and directed to the appropriate resources. This role is essential in supporting Patient Services and delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate and triage incoming calls to determine purpose and urgency.

Enroll new customers into Patient Services programs.

Maintain and communicate information about Patient Services initiatives.

Record and manage patient interactions in the database.

Coordinate with physician offices, pharmacies, and other external entities to meet patient needs.

Assist with special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
-
Previous experience in Specialty Pharmacy or Customer Service.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, email, web-based applications, and CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).

Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and customer service skills.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and work efficiently in high-pressure, time-sensitive situations.

Dependable with a strong work ethic and openness to feedback.

Experience in healthcare or pharmaceutical environments is highly desirable.
Preferred Experience:

Familiarity with CRM or tracking systems.

Understanding of challenges faced by patients with medical conditions.

Comfort working in high call volume environments.
