DUTIES:
The Chef De Partie is responsible for providing culinary support to the kitchen in the preparation and presentation of all dishes. These responsibilities include:
- Creating and completing daily prep lists
- Preparing menu items following recipes and yield guides
- Receiving and organizing deliveries
- Handling opening and closing duties
- Maintaining Dept of Health standards
- Communicating with Chef on Duty about any issues with product, supplies, equipment or facilities
- Participating in staff training opportunities to develop knowledge and skills
REQUIREMENTS:
- Proven interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with a team
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Understanding of hygiene, food safety, and DOH regulations
- Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Ability to remain calm, professional, and focused under pressure
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and carry heavy trays or equipment as needed
