Position Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Food and Beverage Director to lead our culinary and service operations in beautiful Palm Beach Gardens, FL. This role oversees multiple outlets, including the restaurant, bar, room service, banquets, and catering.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Management
- Lead, mentor, and develop food and beverage managers and hourly staff.
- Cultivate a high-performance culture focused on guest satisfaction and operational excellence.
- Recruit, train, and retain top-tier talent while promoting professional development.
Operations & Guest Experience
- Direct daily operations across all F&B outlets, ensuring seamless service and consistency.
- Proactively address guest concerns and implement service recovery strategies.
- Continuously assess service standards and implement improvements where needed.
Financial Management
- Develop and manage departmental budgets and forecasts.
- Monitor and control costs related to food, beverage, labor, and inventory.
- Analyze financial reports and implement strategies to drive profitability.
Menu Development & Event Execution
- Collaborate with culinary and sales teams on innovative, seasonal menu offerings.
- Oversee planning and execution of banquets, events, and promotional activities.
- Align food and beverage offerings with the expectations of Palm Beach Gardens’ sophisticated clientele.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive leadership in food & beverage within upscale hotel or resort settings.
- Proven success leading large teams in high-volume operations.
- Strong financial and operational acumen with experience managing P&L statements.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- In-depth knowledge of food safety and sanitation protocols.
