Job DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Miramar, Florida. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy of financial data and maintaining compliance with accounting standards.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee month-end closing activities, ensuring timely and accurate reporting of financial data.
• Manage general ledger operations, including maintaining account balances and reconciling discrepancies.
• Prepare and post journal entries while ensuring proper documentation and compliance.
• Conduct account reconciliations to verify the accuracy of transactions and resolve any inconsistencies.
• Perform bank reconciliations to ensure alignment between financial records and bank statements.
• Assist in developing and improving accounting processes to optimize efficiency and accuracy.
• Collaborate with other departments to address accounting-related inquiries and provide support as needed.
• Ensure compliance with established accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Generate financial reports and provide insights to support decision-making processes.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date records for audits and internal reviews.• Proven experience in full-cycle accounting, including month-end close and general ledger management.
• Proficiency in using NetSuite or similar accounting software.
• Strong knowledge of journal entries, account reconciliations, and related accounting practices.
• Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks effectively.
• Experience with bank reconciliations and financial statement preparation.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
