Position Overview

As the Director, Commercialization – RTD Energy & Total Portfolio, you’ll be a strategic and executional leader driving growth for CELSIUS® RTD Energy Drinks and the broader Non-Beverage category. This is your opportunity to shape go-to-market strategy, align category and channel plans, and deliver impactful commercialization programs across retail and foodservice channels.

You’ll bring a proven ability to translate insights into compelling customer-facing strategies, build execution-ready playbooks, and partner across marketing, sales, finance, and supply chain to accelerate growth. Your expertise at the intersection of brand, channel strategy, and customer development will fuel our continued success in the competitive energy and functional beverage space.

Requirements

  • Experience: 7+ years of CPG experience (beverage strongly preferred) spanning commercialization, category planning, field sales, account management, or channel marketing
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field; MBA preferred
  • Strong understanding of U.S. retail and foodservice channels, shopper behavior, and competitive dynamics in the energy/functional beverage industry
  • Proficiency with syndicated data (IRI, Nielsen), customer POS systems, and retail execution platforms
  • Strong project management and analytical skills with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on mindset and experience in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Willing and able to travel up to 15%

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate CELSIUS® portfolio and brand objectives into channel-specific commercialization strategies and customer-facing selling stories
  • Lead go-to-market planning for innovation launches, packaging changes, and line extensions, ensuring seamless alignment across stakeholders and field teams
  • Develop and optimize assortment strategies by channel using shopper, consumer, and retailer insights
  • Own the commercialization calendar and oversee flawless cross-functional execution
  • Act as the internal subject matter expert on channel dynamics including convenience, grocery, club, and foodservice
  • Partner with key accounts and sales teams to activate commercialization strategies and promotional plans
  • Collaborate with Revenue Growth Management to craft pricing strategies that maximize volume and margin
  • Lead the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) process, defining volume, revenue, and distribution targets by channel and customer
  • Monitor plan performance against KPIs and recommend adjustments to achieve growth objectives
  • Create and deliver annual RTD Energy and Warehouse Direct Playbooks, ensuring alignment with brand, sales, marketing, and supply chain
  • Develop and lead content for National Sales Meetings, divisional roadshows, and field training sessions
  • Build and maintain category training modules for accounts, field sales, brokers, and customer teams
  • Support Joint Business Planning by integrating category and channel strategies into customer and distributor growth plans
  • Partner with insights, marketing, finance, and supply chain to lead post-launch reviews and performance optimization

The base salary range for this position is dependent on experience and location. The final offer will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, and qualifications. This position may be eligible for other compensation, including bonuses and Restricted Stock Units (subject to company plans).
