Warehouse Receiver
Location Pembroke Park, FL | Onsite
Compensation & Schedule
• $17/hr
• Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm
• W2, Full-time
ROLE IMPACT: Join a global equipment manufacturer’s climate-controlled receiving center and play a critical role in shipping, receiving, and inventory control. Your expertise in material handling and warehouse logistics will ensure smooth operations and safe, accurate product movement throughout the facility.
KEY DUTIES
• Receive and prepare inbound and outbound shipments including hazmat paperwork and bills of lading
• Operate sit-down/stand-up forklifts and electric pallet jacks to transport goods
• Maintain clean and organized warehouse areas including shelves, racks, and workstations
• Perform inventory control tasks, including cycle counts
• Follow safety standards and help maintain a hazard-free workspace
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• High school diploma or GED
• 1+ year of forklift and material handling experience
• Ability to read schematics
• Able to lift 50–75 lbs
EQUIPMENT & WORK ENVIRONMENT
• Sit-down and stand-up forklifts
• Electric pallet jack
• Computer-based inventory systems
• Indoor, climate-controlled warehouse
• Requires steel-toe boots
PREFERRED SKILLS
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Computer savvy with excellent problem-solving abilities
• Experience handling hazmat shipments
PRE-EMPLOYMENT
• Must pass drug screen and background check
• Steel-toe boots required
• Computer and clerical testing may be administered
