Advertising Agency Account Manager

Solid experience working in a fast paced agency environment.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Collaborates with agency subject matter experts in the development of strategic plans and SOWs to ensure the Agency is providing the right recommendations to clients
  • Manages overall client budgets and individual project budgets
  • Conducts competitive analyses, and assists in the creation of POVs, white papers and recommendations to the client to grow business
  • Serves as a brand ambassador to ensure all client direction and work reflects, and elevates, the brand
  • Coordinate and execute client programs on time and on budget.
  • Approves and monitors media placements and rotation schedules
  • Reviews work and recommendations for compliance to brand standards and adherence to strategy
  • Upholds a high standard for accountability to, and of, team members
  • Clearly and collaboratively sets expectations with team members
  • Supports and trains team members to ensure growth and motivation
  • Organizes and maintains all necessary records for assigned accounts, including initiating all paperwork for all jobs, maintaining historical files and supporting Account Director in updating the Account Plan
  • Remains knowledgeable at all times about the status of projects and makes sure work is completed accurately and on time.
  • Keeps client informed on status of all projects including completion and status reports
  • Participates as required with new business

  • Strong knowledge of traditional and digital technologies
  • Strong knowledge of Client Services Management processes including Agile methods a plus
  • Maintain and grow client relationships through the development of strategic marketing strategies based on clients business goals, audience and budget
  • The ability to help educate clients on complexity of work and set client priorities for feasible delivery

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Advertising or Marketing or similar profession in Account Management
  • 4+ years experience in related advertising background
  • Experience working directly with clients and/or in a client services role
  • Experience collaborating with media planners and buyers in the execution of paid media plans on behalf of clients
  • Advanced computer skills
  • Math and analytical skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members
