We are seeking a talented Line Cook or Sous Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will assist the Owner Chef in overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food preparation, and maintaining a positive work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Head Chef in menu planning, recipe development, and food preparation.
- Supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to quality standards.
- Assist in inventory management, ordering supplies, and controlling food costs.
- Lead banquet and catering events, ensuring exceptional service and food quality.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment following health and safety guidelines.
- Train and mentor kitchen staff on culinary techniques and best practices.
Experience:
- Previous experience in a fine dining and seafood restaurant.
- Proven track record in menu planning, execution, and presentation.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
- Knowledge of food industry trends, ingredients, and cooking techniques.
- Experience in supervising kitchen operations and ensuring high-quality standards are met.
