The Role
We’re hiring a Marketing Manager to lead day-to-day marketing execution and coordinate business development support across the firm. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, proactive, and strong with writing—someone who can turn leadership input into consistent marketing output and keep priorities moving on schedule.
You’ll work directly with our main marketing leads and collaborate with studio leaders to support growth goals.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Planning + Execution
- Build and manage a 12-month marketing plan aligned with firm growth goals (new clients, visibility, proposals).
- Maintain a clear monthly marketing calendar with deadlines, owners, and deliverables.
- Help refine positioning and messaging for core markets: multifamily, student housing, commercial.
Social Media + Content
- Own the social media strategy and posting schedule
- Convert raw content (project updates, site visits, photos, awards, team insights) into polished posts.
- Maintain consistent quality and tone across all channels.
- Track performance and adjust based on engagement from target audiences (developers/owners/partners).
Leadership Support + Personal Brand Coordination
- Support visibility for firm leadership (including personal brand content coordination for key leaders).
- Help organize content themes, post drafting, repurposing, and scheduling—while keeping it authentic and professional.
Proposal + Pursuit Support
- Coordinate proposal schedules and inputs (resumes, project sheets, narratives, deadlines).
- Maintain and improve templates for proposals, qualifications packages, and case studies.
- Keep marketing collateral current: capabilities deck, one-pagers, project highlights, staff resumes.
Website + Brand Consistency
- Coordinate website updates (new projects, leadership updates, insights/blog content).
- Ensure brand consistency across website, proposals, and social.
CRM Management (Already Set Up)
- Maintain and manage the existing CRM:
- Keep contacts/accounts updated
- Track pursuits and activity
- Generate basic reports for leadership
- Ensure follow-ups and notes are captured so opportunities don’t get lost.
Events + Partnerships
- Assist with planning and execution of small business development events (developer breakfasts, webinars, partner spotlights).
- Coordinate sponsorships and industry involvement in a way that supports relationship-building.
What Success Looks Like (First 6–12 Months)
- A consistent marketing rhythm is in place (content, proposals, updates happen on schedule).
- Social media is steady, professional, and aligned with business goals.
- Proposal production is smoother and faster with clean, current materials.
- Leadership has simple reporting visibility (pipeline activity, pursuits, marketing output).
- Marketing supports more qualified conversations and opportunities.
Qualifications
Must-haves
- 4+ years in marketing (AEC/architecture/engineering/construction or professional services preferred).
- Strong writing and editing skills (you can make technical info clear and client-friendly).
- Strong project management habits: calendars, deadlines, follow-through.
- Comfortable working closely with leadership and busy teams in an in-person environment.
- Experience running LinkedIn content and reviewing basic analytics.
Nice-to-haves
- Proposal/RFQ/RFP experience in AEC.
- Familiarity with SMPS, AIA, CRE/development industry.
- Comfortable managing a CRM (without needing to build it from scratch).
- Basic design/layout skills (InDesign, Illustrator, Canva) or ability to coordinate with a designer.
- Event planning experience.
