Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and visionary Salesforce Lead to take ownership of our Salesforce ecosystem and lead a small but growing team of engineers. While Salesforce is currently leveraged for basic ticketing and workflow needs, this role will drive the evolution of Salesforce into a true enterprise-grade platform that powers efficiency, scalability, and innovation across the organization. The Salesforce Lead will set the roadmap for Salesforce’s expansion, oversee daily operations and development, and serve as a trusted partner to other departments—translating business needs into Salesforce solutions that improve performance, automation, and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Strategy
- Lead and mentor a team of two Salesforce Engineers, ensuring high-quality delivery and professional growth.
- Define and communicate the vision for Salesforce as an enterprise workflow and process automation platform.
- Develop and manage the Salesforce roadmap aligned with organizational goals and evolving business needs.
Platform Ownership
- Oversee Salesforce configuration, customization, integrations, and maintenance.
- Establish standards, governance, and best practices for Salesforce development and usage.
- Ensure the platform is scalable, secure, and optimized for performance.
Cross-Department Collaboration
- Partner with business units (Operations, RCM, Analytics, HR, etc.) to identify opportunities to expand Salesforce use and improve workflows.
- Provide proactive feedback and recommendations to departments on how Salesforce can be leveraged to enhance efficiency, reporting, and decision-making.
- Translate complex business requirements into Salesforce solutions that deliver measurable value.
Execution & Delivery
- Manage project timelines, prioritization, and resource allocation within the Salesforce team.
- Oversee the design and implementation of new workflows, dashboards, integrations, and automation.
- Monitor adoption and usage, ensuring solutions deliver intended outcomes.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce development/administration experience.
- 2+ years of leadership or team management experience.
- Proven track record of expanding Salesforce usage beyond ticketing into enterprise workflows and automation.
- Salesforce certifications (Administrator, Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder, or equivalent) strongly preferred.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong leadership and team development skills.
- Deep knowledge of Salesforce platform capabilities, limitations, and best practices.
- Experience with workflow automation, system integrations, and enterprise-level Salesforce implementations.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
