Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Salesforce Lead to take ownership of our Salesforce ecosystem and lead a small but growing team of engineers. While Salesforce is currently leveraged for basic ticketing and workflow needs, this role will drive the evolution of Salesforce into a true enterprise-grade platform that powers efficiency, scalability, and innovation across the organization. The Salesforce Lead will set the roadmap for Salesforce’s expansion, oversee daily operations and development, and serve as a trusted partner to other departments—translating business needs into Salesforce solutions that improve performance, automation, and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Strategy

  • Lead and mentor a team of two Salesforce Engineers, ensuring high-quality delivery and professional growth.
  • Define and communicate the vision for Salesforce as an enterprise workflow and process automation platform.
  • Develop and manage the Salesforce roadmap aligned with organizational goals and evolving business needs.

Platform Ownership

  • Oversee Salesforce configuration, customization, integrations, and maintenance.
  • Establish standards, governance, and best practices for Salesforce development and usage.
  • Ensure the platform is scalable, secure, and optimized for performance.

Cross-Department Collaboration

  • Partner with business units (Operations, RCM, Analytics, HR, etc.) to identify opportunities to expand Salesforce use and improve workflows.
  • Provide proactive feedback and recommendations to departments on how Salesforce can be leveraged to enhance efficiency, reporting, and decision-making.
  • Translate complex business requirements into Salesforce solutions that deliver measurable value.

Execution & Delivery

  • Manage project timelines, prioritization, and resource allocation within the Salesforce team.
  • Oversee the design and implementation of new workflows, dashboards, integrations, and automation.
  • Monitor adoption and usage, ensuring solutions deliver intended outcomes.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce development/administration experience.
  • 2+ years of leadership or team management experience.
  • Proven track record of expanding Salesforce usage beyond ticketing into enterprise workflows and automation.
  • Salesforce certifications (Administrator, Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder, or equivalent) strongly preferred.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong leadership and team development skills.
  • Deep knowledge of Salesforce platform capabilities, limitations, and best practices.
  • Experience with workflow automation, system integrations, and enterprise-level Salesforce implementations.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strategic thinker with hands-on problem-solving ability.
