The right candidate will be responsible for performing the following duties:
- Make sales proposals and present to customers in person as needed.
- Create a sales plan and target customers accordingly.
- Schedule and regularly visit customers to maintain relationships.
- Cultivate new accounts and customer relationships.
- Create and pursue customer leads/make cold calls to prospective customers.
- Identify and execute on opportunities to up-sell and cross-sell.
- Direct and liaise between inside sales and customer on the creation of quotes.
- Solicit feedback from customers on products and services and provide it to the Sales Manager for appropriate follow-up action.
- Provide weekly reports to management regarding territory.
- Gather and submit to Sales Manager competitive market and pricing information.
- Gather competitive market and pricing information
- Connecting with customers to ensure that past due bills are paid and collect payments when necessary.
- Follow up with customers and provide solutions should a service concern arise.
- Maintain assigned sales quotas and forecast as needed.
- Be willing to accept new responsibilities and work assignments as they become needed while employed at Century Metals & Supplies, Inc.
The right candidate will have the following qualifications and skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
- Valid Florida Driver’s License with clean driving record and own reliable vehicle.
- Ability to travel the tri-county area (Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach).
- Exceptional verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and public speaking skills.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Willingness to take on tasks as needed.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, and limited Power-Point).
- Resourcefulness with superior time-management skills.
- Self-Starter who can manage a territory and keep up with the demands of accounts and maintain a positive attitude.
- Ability to close sales with proven problem solving/analytics.
- Customer Service Oriented.
