Job Title: H.R. Administrative Assistant (with Growth Path to H.R. Generalist/Specialist)
Department: Human Resources
Reports To: H.R./Payroll Specialist | H.R. Director
Location: In Person – Palm Springs, FL
Pay Range: $22–$24 per hour (DOE)
Position Overview:
Warrior Service Company LLC is seeking a personable, emotionally intelligent, and data-literate individual to join our H.R. team in a newly created role focused on administration, engagement, and metrics. This position will serve as the cornerstone for our front desk and internal communications efforts while laying the foundation for deeper HR involvement in employee engagement, training, recruiting, and personnel tracking. The ideal candidate will either be an internal team member ready to grow or an external hire with a background in HR and a passion for culture and metrics.
Key Responsibilities:
Administrative & Front Desk Support
- Serve as the first point of contact for staff and visitors at the front desk.
- Maintain a professional and welcoming office environment.
- Assist with scheduling, office supply management, and day-to-day administrative tasks.
Internal Communications & Culture
- Draft and distribute internal announcements, newsletters, and employee communications.
- Promote company culture through events, campaigns, and recognition programs.
- Support HR in rolling out initiatives that enhance workplace morale and alignment.
Surveys & Engagement Metrics
- Coordinate and administer employee engagement surveys.
- Analyze and present survey results and HR metrics to help drive actionable improvements.
- Track participation, satisfaction, and feedback trends over time.
Personnel Records & Screening
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date personnel files in accordance with legal and company standards.
- Assist in pre-employment screening, including background checks and reference verification.
Recruiting Support
- Post job openings, screen candidates, and coordinate interview logistics.
- Help maintain applicant tracking systems and candidate databases.
Training & Development (Future Add-On)
- Support planning and scheduling of training initiatives.
- Track training completion and assist in developing learning paths.
Compliance & Inspection Support
- Assist in preparation for internal or external HR audits.
- Ensure records and processes are organized, updated, and compliant.
Key Deliverables:
- A productive and engaged workforce with measurable improvements in morale and retention.
- Departmental performance metrics that support accountability and transparency.
- Timely employee feedback loops and consistent recognition efforts.
Qualifications:
- 1–2 years of experience in HR, office administration, or a related field preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets, survey tools, and HR systems.
- Emotionally intelligent and passionate about workplace culture.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion.

Schedule:
- 8-hour shift
- Monday to Friday 8a to 4:30p
Growth Path:
This role is designed as a developmental track to grow into an HR Generalist or HR Specialist role. Exposure to multiple HR functions will prepare the candidate for progressive responsibility in employee relations, benefits, compliance, and strategic HR initiatives.
