Responsibilities:
- Answers telephone and gives information to callers, takes messages, or transfers calls to appropriate individuals.
- Opens incoming mail and routes mail to appropriate individuals.
- Schedules appointments, maintains calendar and coordinates conferences and meetings.
- Maintains general files, files correspondence, and other records.
- Utilizes office equipment, copier, facsimile, makes copies of correspondence and other printed matter
- Arranges travel schedules and reservations.
- Greets and welcomes visitors, determines nature of business, and handles routine inquiries and directs them to the appropriate person.
- Compiles and maintains lists and records electronically and manually.
- Mails newsletters, promotional material, or other information
- Orders and dispenses office supplies.
- Interacts with all levels of staff, directors, managers, employees.
- Handles special projects as assigned.
Education / Skills / Work Experience Required:
- High school diploma required, post-secondary schooling in related field preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills required.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills required.
- Knowledge of computer with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Power Point, & Outlook
- Knowledge of the English language including the meaning and spelling rules of composition and grammar
- Bilingual preferred
- A Valid Driver’s License is required.
Working Conditions:
