Position Overview:
The Creative Director, Partnerships is the strategic leader responsible for elevating and executing 4ocean’s visual identity across our B2B initiatives, including brand partnerships, sponsorships, and sales enablement.
This role is not about managing individual design tasks or creating content in isolation—but about architecting a cohesive creative strategy that enhances our brand’s impact across all partner touchpoints. It requires both high-level vision and hands-on leadership to ensure all assets and campaigns are aligned, effective, and mission-driven.
The primary mission: Build a best-in-class creative system that empowers the Partnerships team with impactful, on-brand assets that inspire action, drive conversions, and bring our ocean cleanup mission to life through every deck, campaign, and co-branded collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
Creative Strategy & Execution
- Lead the development of creative concepts and campaigns that support B2B marketing, partnership activations, and co-branded efforts.
- Establish and maintain visual standards across all partnership-related deliverables, including sales decks, one-pagers, campaign materials, and event assets.
- Collaborate with the Partnership Marketing Director and Sales team to deliver high-impact assets that drive business results.
- Translate briefs into compelling visual outputs that reflect both 4ocean’s brand and partner goals.
- Ensure all creative aligns with broader brand standards and environmental messaging.
Hands-On Creative Development
- Be directly involved in the development of all creative assets—including photography and video—to ensure execution matches strategic vision.
- Maintain the ability to work hands-on in photo and video production, including planning, shooting, and editing when needed.
- Balance strategic oversight with tactical execution to ensure content is both high-quality and delivered on time.
Team & Workflow Management
- Oversee in-house designers and freelancers focused on B2B and partner content.
- Establish creative processes, feedback loops, and review checkpoints to ensure high-quality, timely deliverables.
- Create and maintain a system of templates and reusable content libraries that accelerate production and scale asset creation.
- Coordinate with cross-functional departments (Product, Ecommerce, Foundation) to ensure visual consistency and efficient resource sharing.
Sales & Partnership Enablement
- Lead the creation of customizable, scalable sales enablement tools in platforms like Canva and Adobe Suite.
- Proactively identify gaps in the sales asset library and lead refreshes based on new campaigns, partnerships, and data insights.
- Provide powerful creative assets that clearly communicate 4ocean’s value proposition and impact to support sales and business development.
Innovation & Brand Storytelling
- Develop co-branded storytelling moments and hero campaigns in collaboration with partner brands.
- Support the visual execution of live cleanups, sponsorships, and experiential events.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of creative leadership experience, preferably in a B2B, agency, or brand-side role.
- Proven track record of leading visual strategy for brand partnerships, sales enablement, and integrated campaigns.
- Mastery of design tools and platforms (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, etc.).
- Strong portfolio demonstrating a wide range of creative work with real-world business impact
- Excellent leadership, project management, and communication skills.
- Passion for environmental sustainability and alignment with 4ocean’s mission and values.
