ABOUT THE COMPANY
A-CAP is a rapidly growing organization that owns and operates multiple insurance companies and ancillary insurance businesses and has over $10 billion of total invested assets. This opening is with the holding company, which primarily performs asset management, actuarial, accounting, and other oversight functions on behalf of A-CAP’s insurers and third-party clients. This group also provides strategic and operational support to A-CAP’s portfolio companies/subsidiaries, proactively formulates new investment strategies, oversees external financing and acquisition activities, and provides modeling support for insurer liabilities and capital. On the insurance product side, A-CAP’s primary lines of business are traditional fixed and equity-indexed annuities, with additional business in whole life insurance, Medicare supplement, and hospital indemnity products. A-CAP insurers originate over $2 billion of new premium annually.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a skilled Product Marketing Associate to join our team and play a crucial role in creating and managing product materials for our annuity and life insurance products. The Product Marketing Associate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing marketing materials and product documentation for our annuity and life insurance product lines. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in creating engaging and accurate product materials, a strong understanding of insurance products, and the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to a variety of audiences.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Material Development
- Create and maintain a wide range of product materials, including brochures, fact sheets, presentations, product guides, and digital content for annuity and life insurance products.
- Collaborate with product managers and marketing teams to ensure materials accurately represent product features, benefits, and competitive positioning.
- Develop content that is clear, compelling, and compliant with industry regulations and company standards.
Marketing Support
- Assist in the creation of marketing collateral and campaigns that effectively promote annuity and life insurance products.
- Work with the marketing team to design and produce promotional materials, including email campaigns, social media content, and advertisements.
- Ensure that marketing materials are aligned with brand guidelines and product messaging strategies.
Content Management
- Oversee the organization and updates of product documentation and marketing materials, ensuring that all content is current and accurate.
- Implement a systematic approach for managing and distributing materials to internal teams, brokers, and other stakeholders.
- Monitor and address feedback from stakeholders to continuously improve the quality and effectiveness of product materials.
Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure all product materials and marketing content adhere to industry regulations and company policies.
- Work closely with legal and compliance teams to review materials and ensure they meet regulatory standards before distribution.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with product development teams to understand new product features and updates, ensuring timely and accurate integration into marketing materials.
- Support training efforts for sales and customer service teams by developing training materials and resources related to product offerings.
- Collaborate with external vendors and designers to produce high-quality materials as needed.
Market and Product Insights
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and market dynamics to ensure that product materials are relevant and impactful.
- Analyze the effectiveness of marketing materials and make recommendations for enhancements based on performance metrics and feedback.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in creating and managing product materials within the insurance or financial services industry, with a focus on annuities and life insurance.
- Proven experience in developing high-quality marketing and product materials, including print and digital content.
- Strong understanding of annuity and life insurance products, with the ability to translate complex product information into clear and engaging materials.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in content management systems, design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite), and marketing tools.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work well with cross-functional teams.

POSITION TYPE AND EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., 40 hours weekly, or as otherwise arranged with the manager of the department.
