Personal Lines Underwriter / Sales Representative – Homeowners Specialist
South Florida Insurance Agency – Full Time

We are seeking a licensed 220 agent to take the lead in running our fast-paced Homeowners Department. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven, detail-oriented, and outgoing professional to join a growing agency and make a real impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Rewrite policies that are non-renewed and review coverages at renewal.
• Provide exceptional customer service throughout the policy term.
• Review coverages with clients, discuss mitigation credits, and identify opportunities for coverage improvements.
• Call insureds and mortgage companies regarding renewals and updates.
• Cross-sell all other personal lines
• Handle mortgage changes and work directly with underwriters to resolve missing information or documentation requests.
• Provide carriers with renewal information as needed.
• Manage billing inquiries and confidently answer all homeowners insurance questions.

Qualifications:

• Active 220 license required.
• Proficiency with Citizens and major South Florida carriers.
• Strong understanding of billing systems and underwriting procedures.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Highly aggressive, outgoing, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior personal lines / homeowners' insurance experience preferred.
