Qualifications
A leading Trade Finance firm based in Miami, FL, is seeking a highly detail-oriented Account Manager – Trade Finance to join its growing team. This role offers the opportunity to work in international trade operations, handling end-to-end transaction processes, reviewing trade documentation, and ensuring accuracy in financial calculations.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze trade finance transactions to ensure compliance, accuracy, and profitability.
- Review and execute purchase orders (POs) and bills of lading (BLs).
- Calculate fees, financing costs, and product mark-ups.
- Maintain transaction records, client accounts, and reporting dashboards.
- Work with clients, vendors, and internal teams to resolve discrepancies in documentation.
- Utilize Excel for financial analysis, reconciliations, and transaction modeling.
- Ensure all transactions align with internal policies, trade regulations, and international standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in trade finance, international trade operations, or financial/accounting roles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with trade documentation (POs, bills of lading, shipping docs).
- Highly organized with keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills for both internal and external collaboration.
- Previous account management experience
- Articulate and well accustomed to a client facing role
- Willingness and ability to travel
