A growing financial services firm is seeking an early-career Accountant to support day-to-day accounting and financial reporting activities for a select group of clients. This role offers hands-on exposure to real-world accounting operations in a professional, fast-paced environment.
You will work closely with an experienced accounting team and gain practical experience across cash management, reporting, and financial operations. Training and mentorship are provided, making this an excellent opportunity for recent accounting graduates looking to build a strong foundation in public or financial services accounting.
What You’ll Do
- Maintain accurate financial records and general ledger activity
- Process accounts payable, including invoice entry, vendor coordination, and payment preparation
- Assist with cash flow tracking, budgeting, and forecasting
- Prepare recurring financial reports and reconciliations
- Support ad hoc financial analyses and special projects
- Assist with payroll-related accounting activities
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 1–2 years of experience in accounting support, bookkeeping, or accounts payable (internships included)
- CPA-track or interest in pursuing CPA licensure
- Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office tools
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Professionalism and discretion when handling sensitive information
- Self-motivated, analytical, and eager to learn
