JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for performing routine cash posting accounting activities for client accounts. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Download bank reports, verify remittance with payments and post to associated invoices according to SBF processes and procedures.
  • Research and adjust check and/or cash posting errors.
  • Prepare daily reconciliation and cash balancing reports as required.
  • Report any bank discrepancies to SBF Cash Application/Data Supervisor.
  • Deposit physical checks received in office into appropriate bank account via remote scanner.
  • Respond to internal and external clients regarding cash posting as directed by SBF Operations team.
  • Utilize industry specific software (Factorsoft), Microsoft Office and Seacoast Bank on-line banking portals in order to perform daily tasks.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

· High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree from a four year college or university in Accounting/Finance preferred.

· 1-2 years: One plus year experience in a clerical accounting or bookkeeping position with 6 months experience in data entry or a position requiring arithmetic computation; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Job Type: Full-time in Boynton Beach, FL. Pay: $19.57 - $22.50 per hour
