Summary: To prepare and maintain assigned par levels of food items. To clean kitchen, work areas and equipment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Must be able to follow recipes and procedures for assigned meals.
Able to cook large portions on a flat top grill.
Able to use double convection ovens.
Comply with all health code requirements.
Use knives correctly to include cut, dice, and chop.
Must be able to follow the portion control guidelines for each meal.
Clean shelves, organize, remove trash and clean dishes when needed.
Ensure the work area stays clean throughout the work day.
Operate equipment safely determined by the position
Work closely and communicate with kitchen employees Assist other cooks as needed.
Other functions as assigned by management.
Ability to Drive and deliver
Days of work are typically Wed (8-4), Thurs (8-4) and Sunday for Delivery (7-12) or (12-6)
Education & Experience:
No prior education required.
Previous prep/cook experience preferred.
Must be 18 years old to be hired.
ServeSafe is a plus.
Working Conditions:
Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $15-$17 /hour
