Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our team in a luxury, dynamic jewelry store environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and a strong ability to communicate effectively with customers. As a Sales Associate, you will play a key role in enhancing the shopping experience by assisting customers, managing stock, and promoting products.
Duties
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers and assisting them with their inquiries.
- Operate cash registers and point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain an organized and well-stocked sales floor by restocking shelves and managing inventory levels.
- Conduct product demonstrations to promote new items and encourage sales.
- Assist in the preparation of promotional displays to enhance product visibility.
- Handle customer transactions, returns, and exchanges with professionalism.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth operation of the store.
- Stay informed about product offerings, promotions, and store policies to provide accurate information to customers.
- Weekly Working Hours: MON-SAT 8am - 6pm and SUN 9:30-5:30
- 10 hour work shifts (full time is 4 days, part time is 2-3 days)
Requirements
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing inventory.
- Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred but not mandatory.
- Must take required jewelry and gemstone courses once hired.
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply as it enhances communication with diverse customers.
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with customers and team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- Shifts always change every week, no set schedule.
