Job Description

The Execution Operations Manager is responsible for supervising the operations of multiple projects through guiding, training, and supervising the project leadership team in maintaining the company's standards of excellence and guaranteeing quality performance.

General Responsibilities

  • Planning the projects based on the client's requirements through the design and calculation of execution times determined the duration, resources, costs, and special needs requested by the client being the basis for the quotation and approval of this.
  • Participate in the negotiation with the client from the technical aspect to ensure the success of the execution.
  • Select and coordinate the work team for the determined project with the objective of assigning the project manager and the appropriate personnel to the needs of the project.
  • Manage the correct use of equipment for rentals, hotels, and transfers for the start-up of the projects on time.
  • Design of the execution plan where the established activities and times are determined in detail.
  • Supervise multiple projects simultaneously to make the necessary adjustments to ensure compliance with the quality expected by the client.
  • Manage the relationship with the clients of different projects with the objective of guaranteeing their satisfaction, giving resolution to the situations escalated by their Project Managers.
  • Coordinate the mobilization and transfer of resources (IT equipment, machinery, tools, and people), to take advantage of these between the different projects.
  • Ensure that the people in charge of the projects are properly trained, compensated, and motivated to perform their tasks effectively and efficiently in order to achieve the organization's objectives.
  • Manage the budget assigned for each project by reviewing, controlling, and authorizing payments of temporary staff, and operating expenses.
  • Assigning and controlling the project budget to project managers.
  • Continuous search for new ways of working to make time and processes more efficient.
  • Efficiently informing the client and Operations Management of the effects to the processes involved with the development and dates of the project through the elaboration of reports with the objective of assuring the development of the project in progress.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Engineering or similar positions.

Must have:

  • 5 years of Experience in the leadership of a multifunctional team’s whit a very diverse scope of work (construction, inventory, project related teams, etc.)
  • Deep understanding of project management skills, proficient in computer skills (CAD readers, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, project management software).
  • Availability to travel.

Nice to have:

  • Project Manager Professional (PMP) / Team Agility Certified/ Lean Six Sigma Certified or equivalent. OSHA.
  • Spanish preferred.
