Job DescriptionA leading manufacturer in aviation instrumentation and avionics systems is seeking a Business Development Manager to join their team in Clearwater, FL. This role is fully on-site and requires U.S. Person status due to ITAR-regulated products.
Reporting to the VP of Sales & Marketing, the BD Manager will play a critical role in identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities across civil, military, and rotorcraft platforms. You'll manage customer relationships, represent the brand at industry events, and negotiate contracts that drive long-term growth.
Responsibilities:

Own customer engagement from lead generation through contract negotiation

Develop and manage a strong sales pipeline

Represent the brand at trade shows and sales meetings

Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure customer satisfaction and revenue goals

Report on forecast, pricing, and margin expectations
What We're Looking For:

2+ years of outside sales experience in aerospace or aviation

Experience selling complex technical products

Strong communicator, both written and verbal

Proactive, data-driven, and results-oriented

Familiarity with ITAR compliance

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business preferred

Domestic and international travel required (approx. 50%)
