Job DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team in Punta Gorda, Florida. This is a Contract to permanent position, offering an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented individual with strong accounting expertise to contribute to financial operations and grow within the organization. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proficient in QuickBooks, and skilled in managing all aspects of bookkeeping.
Responsibilities:
• Manage all aspects of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Perform thorough bank reconciliations to maintain financial records and resolve discrepancies.
• Utilize QuickBooks to record transactions, generate reports, and monitor financial activities.
• Prepare and maintain detailed financial records to support accurate reporting and compliance.
• Handle payroll processing and ensure all associated documentation is completed properly.
• Monitor and manage company budgets to ensure financial goals are met.
• Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for review and analysis.
• Collaborate with management to provide insights and recommendations based on financial data.
• Assist in audit preparation and respond to inquiries from external auditors.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of all financial information and records.• Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper with a track record of managing comprehensive bookkeeping tasks.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and familiarity with its advanced features.
• Strong knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Expertise in bank reconciliations and resolving discrepancies.
• Ability to prepare accurate financial statements and reports.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
