What will you do:
- Execute sourcing strategies, negotiate and buy goods, materials and services to meet the Client’s needs
- Ensure continuous supply of required goods and materials and communicate any supply problems which may pose a risk or impact on business operations
- Manage a part of or a complete sourcing program
- Monitor market trends, competitor strategies and market suppliers
- Identify opportunities for cost saving, process improvements, and increasing efficiency of purchasing
- Conduct vendor performance review to ensure compliance to company guidelines, purchasing policies and procedures
- Assure the contract and/or PO execution, including resolving current operational issues
What you should have:
- Bachelor's Degree required, Master’s Degree preferred
- Proven purchasing experience min. 5 years
- Experience with Aerospace Industry
- Project management experience
- Highly skilled at building and maintaining effective and productive relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers
- Strong negotiation, communication, interpersonal and influencing skills
- Strong attention to details and data management skills
- Ability to add value, reduce costs and make business improvements
- Ability to handle complex situations with little to no guidance.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Very good command of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
- Ariba, iValua, SAP, Oracle, Coupa or any other sourcing systems will be an asset
