JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for a skilled SEO Content Specialist to join our team to create compelling, optimized content that drives organic search performance. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in both content development and SEO, with 1–2 years of SEO experience and 1–3 years of writing for digital platforms.

In this role, you will craft well-researched, engaging, and keyword-optimized content that aligns with client goals and SEO best practices. You should be comfortable implementing on-page SEO techniques such as keyword integration, meta descriptions, header optimization, and internal linking to maximize content visibility.

This role requires excellent writing skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset. You will work closely with SEO strategists, content managers, and other team members to produce content that resonates with target audiences and performs well in search engines.

This position is an IN-OFFICE role at our Downtown Fort Lauderdale location, 8 hours a day. Monday through Friday.

RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE (but are not limited to):

  • Creating well-researched, engaging, and SEO-optimized content for various digital platforms, including blog posts, articles, and website pages.

  • Implementing on-page SEO best practices, such as keyword integration, meta descriptions, header tags, and internal linking, to improve content visibility and ranking.

  • Collaborating with SEO strategists and content managers to align content with overall SEO goals and client objectives.

  • Conducting keyword research and incorporating findings effectively into content development.

  • Proofreading content to ensure accuracy, clarity, consistency, and adherence to brand voice and style guidelines.

  • Optimizing existing content by updating keywords, refreshing information, and improving readability to maintain search engine rankings.

  • Assisting in the development of content calendars and ensuring the timely delivery of content assets.

  • Utilizing SEO tools and analytics to monitor content performance and identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Adapting content for different platforms and audiences, ensuring it meets user intent and drives engagement.

  • Staying up to date with industry trends, SEO best practices, and Google algorithm updates to continuously enhance content strategy.

  • Supporting the creation of content specifically aimed at lead generation and conversion optimization when required.

  • Following ethical guidelines for content creation, including proper use of AI tools and ensuring originality.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 1–2 years of SEO experience, with a strong understanding of on-page SEO best practices and keyword optimization

  • 1–3 years of experience creating digital content, such as blog posts, articles, website pages, and product descriptions

  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with strong attention to grammar, style, and clarity

  • Ability to incorporate SEO strategies seamlessly into content without compromising readability or engagement

  • Familiarity with SEO tools like Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar platforms

  • Understanding of content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress, Webflow, or Wix

  • Strong research skills to develop accurate, relevant, and insightful content tailored to target audiences

  • Experience leveraging large language models (LLMs) such as ChatGPT or similar AI tools to support ethical and effective content creation and development

  • Ability to follow briefs and guidelines while also contributing creative ideas to improve content performance

  • Comfortable collaborating with SEO strategists, editors, account managers, and other team members in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines consistently

  • A writing portfolio or writing samples demonstrating SEO content writing experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience developing content specifically for lead generation

  • Experience developing content with a focus on conversion rate and user intent

  • Familiarity with SEO tools beyond basics, such as content gap analysis and topic clustering

  • Understanding of Google’s algorithm updates and SEO best practices such as E-E-A-T, Core Web Vitals, Helpful Content, Etc.

  • Familiarity with Google platforms such as Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Search Console, and Google Business Profile management

  • Experience creating multimedia content or collaborating with design teams

  • Experience creating and optimizing content for Google Business Profiles, including posts and local SEO elements
