Director of Food & Beverage Palm Beach Gardens
Palm Beach Gardens, FL | Full-Time | Hospitality Leadership | $90,000 base salary + $9,000 (bonus)
Career Staffing Talent (CST) has partnered with a vibrant team at the Palm Beach Gardens property to recruit the lead person in charge of delivering exceptional culinary experiences that reflect the upscale energy of our community. We're seeking a dynamic, strategic leader to oversee all food and beverage operations across our outlets, banquets, and catering services.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Development
- Inspire and manage a high-performing F&B team across all outlets
- Recruit, train, and retain top talent with a culture of excellence and accountability
- Align staff with service standards and operational procedures
Operational Excellence
- Oversee daily operations of restaurants, bars, banquets, and catering
- Monitor guest satisfaction and resolve service issues proactively
- Continuously evaluate and elevate service delivery
Financial Strategy & Oversight
- Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial plans
- Track key metrics: food & beverage cost, labor cost, and profitability
- Implement cost control measures while maintaining quality
Compliance & Safety
- Ensure adherence to health codes, policies, and local regulations
- Maintain top-tier cleanliness and sanitation standards
Menu Innovation & Event Execution
- Partner with Sales and Culinary teams on seasonal and local menu development
- Lead planning and execution of banquets, events, and promotions
- Curate offerings that reflect Palm Beach Gardens upscale culinary scene
Brand & Guest Experience
- Champion brand standards across all guest touchpoints
- Innovate guest experiences tailored to our sophisticated clientele
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Hospitality, Business, or related field (preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive F&B leadership in upscale hotel or resort settings
- Proven ability to lead large teams in high-volume environments
- Strong financial acumen and P&L management experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Familiarity with the following systems is a plus - (MARSHA, MICROS, CI/TY)
Additional Requirements
- Flexible schedule: nights, weekends, holidays
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Commitment to safety, confidentiality, and professional appearance
- Willingness to perform other duties as assigned
