Position Summary:
The Custom Product Associate is part of the Product Development department. This role contributes to the success of the company by producing high-quality custom products including Metroweave, engraving, and decaling. The Custom Product Associate also participates in QC investigations and resolution. The Associate supports our vision by being dedicated and committed to versatility and excellence in all we produce.

Additional Information:

  • This is a permanent full-time hourly position at $16.00 hourly
  • This role participates in our onsite schedule
    • Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
  • Our distribution center is located at 3151 Northwest 125th St. Miami, FL 33167
  • This position is based in a warehouse environment, where teamwork and efficiency are essential

Major Duties Include:

  • Customizes products utilizing cutting equipment, engraving machinery, specialized printers, and/or kilns
  • Participates in all steps of the process by picking & packing orders, loading & unloading the equipment, QC’ing & packaging completed orders, and maintaining a clean & organized work area at all times
  • Possesses a keen awareness of deadlines and works efficiently to ensure they are met
  • Produces final goods in-line with FOH® quality standards and expectations
  • Able to quickly shift priorities and/or work well as a team to complete urgent orders
  • Completes regular maintenance of equipment
  • Participates in quality control investigations and projects as needed
  • Assists with duties or special projects in Quality Control or custom product areas
  • Records personal daily punches and approves accurate bi-weekly time and attendance records
  • Actively participates in all one-on-one and group meetings
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Promotes our FOH® Culture in all interactions

Education, Experience & Computer Skills:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in using manufacturing equipment, detailing, printing, or similar
  • Minimum of 1+ years’ experience in warehouse environment or related
  • Basic computer skills required

Physical Requirements:

  • While performing the duties of this role, the team member is frequently required to stand, walk, talk and hear. The team member frequently is required to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The team member is occasionally required to sit; regularly climb or balance; and occasionally to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; The team member must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Must be able to tolerate conditions associated with no air conditioning or heat.

The salary/hourly range for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions, including, but not limited to, work experience, territory, geographical location, etc. As such, starting pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.
