About the Firm:
Our client is a Real Estate Private Equity Firm who has recently become a registered investment adviser with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). They specialize in executing programmatic GP equity co-investments in collaboration with real estate operators and developers (GPs), as well as institutional equity investors (LPs) across the United States. Their firm targets opportunistic real estate investments nationwide, with a focus on the multifamily, industrial, and student housing sectors. They seek both acquisitions of existing assets and ground-up development projects that are undervalued by the capital markets.
Position Overview:
A privately held real estate investment firm is seeking a high-energy, motivated Investment Associate to join their growing investment team. This individual will be responsible for outbound outreach, cold calling, and relationship development with real estate sponsors, with the goal of generating high-quality deal flow for our GP co-investment platform.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and is eager to build a career at the intersection of real estate private equity, capital markets, and sponsor-level partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and source new sponsor relationships across multiple real estate asset classes and geographies
- Conduct cold calls, personalized emails, and targeted outreach campaigns to generate qualified leads
- Build and manage a pipeline of sponsors and operators aligned with the firm’s investment strategy
- Act as a first point of contact, introducing the firm’s platform, investment criteria, and value proposition
- Review underwriting documents to ensure deals meet the firm’s investment criteria
- Travel across the country as needed to harness and build long-term sponsor partnerships
- Schedule introductory calls and meetings for senior investment professionals
- Maintain detailed records and follow-ups using
- Salesforce CRM to ensure consistent sponsor engagement
- Collaborate with internal teams to provide feedback on market trends and sourcing effectiveness
- Support in the preparation of outreach materials and pitch decks as needed
Qualifications:
- 1–3 years of experience in sales, business development, capital raising, or real estate advisory
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; confident and comfortable cold calling
- Passion for real estate investing, capital markets, and private equity
- Self-starter with a results-driven mentality and a high degree of professionalism
- Bachelor's degree required; finance, business, or real estate background preferred
- Proficiency with Salesforce CRM or similar tool
- Must be based in or willing to relocate to West Palm Beach, FL
