Sr. Business Systems Analyst - Temp role ~ 1 year
Location: Orlando, FL (fully remote) Will accept FLORIDA CANDIDATES ONLY
Pay: $60-$63/hr
Schedule: 8:00a-5:00p
Summary:
As a Senior Business Analyst, you'll be an empowered leader responsible for driving clarity and alignment between business units and technology teams. You'll leverage your expertise and WVO RCE methodologies to expertly elicit, organize, document, and validate critical business rules and requirements, guiding the development of effective solutions.
Responsibilities:
Essential Job Functions: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
1. Responsibility #1 a. Ability to negotiate customer requirements with senior level management and ensuring agreement between customer and project team on requirements for project deliverables. (20% time)
2. Responsibility #2 a. Manage multiple priorities and customer expectations with all stakeholders. Manage relationships with customers, project managers, IT and business staff, and all levels of management. (20% time)
3. Responsibility #3 a. Conduct meetings with customers to actively solicit, analyze, and document customer requirements including obtaining signoff on business requirements from project stakeholders. (20% time)
4. Responsibility #4 a. Work with systems analyst and/or application development teams during the technical design, coding, testing and implementation stages. Conduct walkthroughs with application development teams as a handoff from analysis to development in the system development life cycle (SDLC). (15% time)
5. Responsibility #5 a. Solicit input from business community to determine project scope. Solicit input from system analysts, developers and other technical staff to determine level of effort required to complete tasks. (10% time)
6. Responsibility #6 a. Manage, document and coordinate changes to functional specifications occurring during all phases of the SDLC and update business rules, functional and non-functional specifications accordingly. (10% time)
7. Performs other duties as needed (5% time)
Qualifications:
- Remote Preference: Located within Florida.
- Key Skills: Excellent analytical, communication (written & verbal), and facilitation skills; quick comprehension of new concepts.
- Experience/Education: Bachelor's degree (or 6+ years BA experience); CBAP certification or 6+ years BA experience in vacation ownership/hotel/tourism (preferred).

- Technical Proficiency: Expert in Microsoft Office Suite; strong ability to use relevant software (e.g., ReqPro, MS Project, SharePoint).
- Job Experience: Minimum 5 years of Business Analyst experience in software development projects.
