F & B Supervisor engaged in Beverage Cart & Restaurant operations. This is a fast pace, on the line supporting role that is responsible for ensuring exceptional service standards, coordinating floor operations, and providing hands-on leadership to the front-of-house team. The Supervisor acts as the operational point of contact during service, ensuring guest satisfaction while upholding the resort’s standards of excellence.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Monitor servers and DRAs adherence to all service standards, SOPs and LSOPs, including inspecting staff for correct, clean, complete uniform, clean polished shoes, name tag and general appearance standards.
- Supervise service of guests, being watchful of signals from guests in need of service.
- Engage in service duties as needed for the operation.
- Supervisor to establish and monitor side work duty completion.
- Maintain bank to SOP, keep it balanced and secure at all times.
- Read daily communication sheets from previous shift and prepare one for the following shift. Check for all personnel call offs and check plan for coverage.
- Check restaurant for cleanliness and set up. Check service stands and aisle areas. Check tables for cleanliness and proper set up.
- Coordinate with culinary and bar teams to ensure seamless communication between front and back of house.
- Communicate daily with restaurant manager with regard to special events, house counts, etc.
- Inform manager of any disciplinary actions needed
- Change or update schedule after receiving approval from Manager
- Conduct audits twice a week for inventory and FIFO
- Support with inventory checks, supply orders, and ensuring proper use of equipment.
- Maintain compliance with resort policies, health, and safety standards.
- Provide input on operational improvements and team development opportunities.
- Performs any other duties required or requested by Manager
- Greet all guests in a cordial and timely manner.
- Provide support in the absence of a runner
- Fill all Bev cart requisitions, Check Bev cart attendants in/out daily
Qualifications:
- Experience: One to two years of previous supervisory or lead experience in a fine dining or luxury hospitality environment preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food, beverage, and luxury service standards.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to lead by example with professionalism and grace under pressure.
- Strong problem-solving and guest-relations skills, handle guest complaints and manage point-of-sales equipment.
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
