Operations Manager – PS MIA

PS is a luxury hospitality company that builds and operates private terminals for commercial flights. PS currently operates at Los Angeles International Airport and Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport and is developing new terminals at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport and Miami International Airport. With unprecedented access, PS has the only private partnership with both TSA and Customs and Border Protection, our guests move seamlessly through arrivals and departures. A team of expert Agents works behind the scenes to choreograph every step of the pre- or post-flight experience. Sail through our private, line-free TSA screening, access dedicated customs and immigration services on arrival, and relax as our trained drivers escort you across the airfield directly to/from your aircraft. All without stepping inside the Airport. Guests also enjoy private suites, chef-prepared food, spa services, and more, all while our Control Room coordinates with government, security, and airline officials to ensure the utmost efficiency, safety, and privacy. The Role: Operations Manager MIA
This is a role for a leadership position at PS MIA, to lead and manage a high performing team in a fast-paced luxury environment. The Operations manager will manage the Operations Department, front and back of house, to ensure flawless execution of all PS service and brand standards. The Operations Manager is responsible for coaching and development of all associates and assisting with customer service recovery. This position reports to the Director of Operations PS MIA.
Responsibilities & Expectations
- Manages and supports the daily Operation at PS MIA.
- Acts as Manager on Duty of the entire business.
- Assists with recruitment and development of the Operations team.
- Ensures that the Operations department maintains SOP and service standards.
- Manages performance of the day-to-day operation and its departments for service quality.
- Responsible for service recovery opportunities.
- Evaluates staff performance, identifying areas for improvement, and providing feedback.
Requirements
- 3+ years’ experience as a manager at an airline or in hospitality.
- Strong written and verbal aptitude to manage operational staff positively and effectively.
- PS is a 24-hour facility and as such we require fully open schedule availability and flexibility for all positions within our operations departments, including weekends, holidays, and early morning/late evening shifts.
- Position contingent on obtaining a SIDA badge with CBP seal and Driver Icon.
