Our services include all aspects of waterfront development and management, including; marinas and adjacent upland property, such as multi-family and retail. We provide the expertise, experience and attention to detail to delight our boaters, clients and communities while maximizing occupancy and revenue.
We are looking to add a Marketing and Sales Representative to our F3 Marina Team in the Fort Lauderdale, FL market. F3 Marina Fort Lauderdale is a state-of-the-art fully automated drystack marina in the heart of Broward County’s boating activity. Located just off the 17th Street Causeway in Fort Lauderdale, we offer unsurpassed amenities, first-class service, and convenient access to numerous restaurants, hotels, shops, local activities, and more.
The marina has direct access to the Intracoastal Waterway and is just minutes from the Atlantic Ocean. Our 240-rack facility is the second fully automated drystack marina in the United States of this type. Nearly the entire process of storing and retrieving boats is automated, creating an efficient, safe and pleasurable experience for boat owners.
With specific occupancy goals and deadlines in mind, you will coordinate marketing and sales activities to cultivate sales and convert sales leads to drystack bookings. Working with the corporate marketing team, you will identify local marketing opportunities to include regattas, boat shows, and guest/client educational, entertainment and sales promotions. Utilizing strong sales acumen, you will conduct sales calls directly with high end customers such as yacht owners, realtors and boat brokers. You will be responsible for marina specific marketing activities including ensuring promotional materials and the marina website are up to date and reflect the F3 Marina identity. As you maintain and build the customer base for the drystack you will coordinate the sales contact database providing excellent follow up to customers and potential clients.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a marketing, public relations and/or sales environment, with a strong preference for experience in the tourism/hospitality industry
- Connections in and understanding of the luxury boating community
- Proven sales skills and experience in meeting aggressive sales goals
- Strong computer skills working with Microsoft suite of products or similar software including word processing, spreadsheets, database management, etc.
- A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or a related field is preferred but not required
- Possess a valid driver’s license
Compensation:
This role is paid on an hourly basis and has great commission potential!
