Legal Videographer – Entry Level (Training Provided!)
Location: South Florida – Miami, Fort Lauderdale & West Palm Beach
Pay: $30/hour (3-hour minimum guarantee)
Type: 1099 Independent Contractor
Schedule: You set your own availability weekly
About the Role
Veritas Court Reporting is seeking reliable, detail-oriented individuals to join our growing Legal Videography Team. No prior experience is required – we provide comprehensive training and all necessary equipment. This is a great opportunity to build a flexible, high-demand skillset while working alongside legal professionals.
Key Responsibilities

Travel to deposition and legal proceeding locations across Miami, Fort Lauderdale, and West Palm Beach

Set up and operate professional video/audio equipment (provided)

Record legal proceedings with high-quality results

Maintain professionalism with attorneys, court reporters, and legal staff

Upload video files via high-speed internet after assignments

We do our best to assign jobs as close to your home as possible based on your availability and location
Requirements

No experience necessary – full training provided

Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license

High-speed internet (minimum 50 Mbps)

Willingness to become a Florida Notary Public (online process)

Two laptops (one with HD webcam) – rental package available if needed

Strong attention to detail, punctuality, and professionalism

Availability during standard business hours (Monday–Friday)

If selected to move forward, you’ll be invited to attend our next in-person training and evaluation workshop:

Dates:

Thursday, August 1: 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM

Friday, August 2: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (lunch provided)

Saturday, August 3: 1:00 PM – 6:00 PM
You’ll also complete a short online training video (approx. 1 hour) before the workshop.
Path to Growth
All new contractors begin by learning remote legal videography, but our highest need is for in-person job coverage across South Florida. Contractors who are available for in-person assignments will have the most consistent opportunities. Remote jobs may be offered when in-person work isn’t available, and the same $30/hour rate applies to both.
