Position Overview

The Marketing Manager Wholesale Perishables & Flowers is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that strengthen the companys brand, support sales goals, and enhance customer engagement. Youll lead a creative team of social media specialists and graphic designers, collaborate with sales and product departments, and oversee all marketing initiatives across international markets.

This position reports directly to the Head of Creative, Director of Revenue, and CEO, with direct reports including Marketing Coordinators, Social Media Specialists, and Graphic Designers.

Key Responsibilities1. Project & Task Management

• Lead planning and execution of marketing projects across multiple channels.

• Develop detailed project plans and manage timelines, budgets, and deliverables.

• Collaborate with sales, operations, and product teams to align marketing efforts with business objectives.

• Use project-management tools to track performance and ensure deadlines are met.

2. Social Media Management

• Design and implement social media strategies for platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Pinterest.

• Oversee daily posting, content creation, and audience engagement.

• Analyze and report social media performance to refine campaigns and boost ROI.

3. Brand Positioning & Strategy

• Build and maintain a strong brand identity that reflects innovation, sustainability, and quality.

• Develop campaigns showcasing product value, seasonal promotions, and company initiatives.

• Monitor market trends, competitors, and consumer behavior to adjust strategy as needed.

4. Graphic Design & Visual Marketing

• Supervise creative design and ensure consistent, visually appealing brand messaging.

• Approve marketing materials such as catalogs, packaging, and digital assets.

• Keep the companys image aligned with modern trends in the floral and perishable industry.

5. Leadership & Team Development

• Mentor and manage a multidisciplinary marketing team.

• Conduct team meetings, assign goals, and oversee performance.

• Promote collaboration, innovation, and accountability within the department.

6. Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with the sales department to ensure marketing supports revenue growth.

• Coordinate with external agencies, vendors, and international partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience).

• 5+ years in marketing roles, including 2+ years in management.

• Experience in wholesale, perishables, or floral/agricultural industries preferred.

• Strong knowledge of social media strategy, branding, and project management.

• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).

• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

• Ability to analyze marketing data and translate insights into results.

• Bilingual (English & Spanish) required.

• Willingness to travel internationally as needed.
