We are a wholesale packaging & paper distribution company located in Port St. Lucie for the last 36 years. We are looking to hire an Outside Sales Representative. The territory representative will service Indian River and South Brevard Counties.
A minimum of 5 years of previous B2B Outside Sales experience involving relationship selling and cold calling are mandatory; experience selling wholesale consumable products as well as paper & janitorial products are a plus. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is needed as well. This position is responsible for maintaining and developing customer relations with existing accounts, and growing the territory by increasing sales with existing accounts as well as opening new accounts.

Professional communication skills, both verbal & written are a must for this position. You also need to be organized, be proficient in intermediate-level business math as well as be detail orientated. A neat and professional appearance is required at all times.
There is a 90 day probation period, the first 30 days of which will be in-house training. Once trained, you will be on the road visiting accounts two to three days a week, Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday. You will need to be in the office on the days that you are not on the road. This is not a home-based position. The position consists of 75% customer contact and 25% account administration. Although existing accounts are given to you to maintain, your main objective will be to acquire new business either from our existing customers or from the acquisition of new accounts. This will be accomplished by soliciting them, visiting their place of business and by phone and email.
Specific Responsibilities Include:
- Build & maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
- Identify & grow sales opportunities within your existing accounts and new business
Accurately forecast the need for our products according to your customer needs
- Inbound/outbound phone calls
- "B2B" cold calling or networking to obtain new business
- Prepare & present proposals for new products
- Maintain & document all account communications in customer account files
- Resolve all customer related issues.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Ability to understand and efficiently carry out written & oral instructions
- Ability to establish & maintain strong working relationships with company personnel
- Strong writing & verbal communication
- Ability to effectively prospect new business
- Basic Excel Skills & Microsoft Word
- An energetic, problem solver with a sense of urgency, ability to see projects through from start to finish, is reliable and has a willingness to learn.
Compensation Package:
- Allowance: Travel and Phone
- PTO: Holiday, Vacation and Personal Time
- Medical Insurance: BC & BS PPO. A & A Supply pays for 50% of the employee's premium.
- Dental insurance – A & A Supply pays for 100% of the dental premium.

- Direct Payroll Deposit
- Salary: $20.00 - $25.00/ hour (based on experience) + monthly commission (after 30 day training period).
