Carlisle Inn in Sarasota is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented individual to join our Conference Center team. The Set-Up Associate is responsible for setting up meeting rooms and event space according to diagrams provided by the hotel Sales & Event Coordinator. The set-up individual is also responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization, and ensuring all guests experience exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and tear down tables, chairs, staging, and equipment according to event diagrams and schedules.
- Maintain cleanliness and readiness of all meeting and banquet areas.
- Assist with audio-visual and lighting equipment as needed.
- Ensure all supplies and equipment are stored properly after each event.
- Provide excellent customer service to guests and fellow team members.
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment.
Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to comprehend and execute instructions from the Group Sales/Event Coordinator.
- Ability to lift, move, and carry up to 50 lbs. and be on your feet for extended periods.
- Able to lift, bend, pull and move furniture
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Previous experience in event set-up or hospitality preferred, but not required—training provided.
- Able to work independently.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma,
- Previous experience with event se-up preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
