Location: Boca Raton, FL
Job Type: Full time
Pay: $35,000 - $50,000. Depending on previous experience.
Benefits: Dental, Life, Medical, PTO, Retirement and Vision.
Schedule Monday-Friday *am-*pm
Reports to: Operations Director
Sterling Biomedical is a growing organization dedicated to delivering excellence in medical equipment repair and service. We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Administrative Assistant to support our Operations Director and play a key role in keeping daily operations running smoothly.

Sterling Biomedical is a trusted service provider specializing in the maintenance of not one, but multiple pieces of equipment within the veterinary and human medical industry. We support veterinary hospitals, human facilities such as dermatology and plastic surgery centers, colleges, research centers and more throughout Florida. Our services encompass routine inspections, emergency repairs, and regular maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and compliance with industry standards. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a reliable, eager to learn and motivated individual to join our team.
Job Summary:
This role is built for someone dependable and eager to learn. Your initial roles will include shadowing to learn the basics of daily operations and dynamics of the company. Additionally, you will begin training in administrative duties such as coordinating schedules, scanning and uploading reports, answering phones and more. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, resourceful, and able to anticipate needs in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Provide administrative support to leadership and staff.

Manage schedule (when applicable).

Prepare and send invoices.

Scanning/attaching service reports.
-
Answer phone calls, emails and other correspondence in a professional and timely manner.

Process payments

Assist with data entry and tracking.

Support day-to-day operations.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED (AA degree or technical training is a plus).

Veterinary/Medical knowledge not required but appreciated.

Previous administrative or office support preferred but not required.

Strong organizational and time management qualities.

Strong ability to multitask.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Proficient in Microsoft and Google Products

Preferred QuickBooks proficiency, but will train the right applicant.

Ability to work independently or with a team.

Adaptable, and resourceful with strong attention to detail.
