We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Service Manager to lead our team at a local plumbing company. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in a service management role, preferably within the plumbing or related service industry. This position requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in computer systems to ensure efficient operations and exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities of the Service Manager:
- Oversee daily service operations, ensuring high-quality work and customer satisfaction.
- Manage and mentor a team of plumbing technicians.
- Schedule and dispatch service calls efficiently.
- Monitor service performance metrics and implement strategies for improvement.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations professionally.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
- Utilize computer software for scheduling, invoicing, inventory management, and reporting.
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize overall business performance.
Qualificationsof the Service Manager:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a service management role.
- Proven leadership abilities and experience managing a team.
- Excellent computer skills, including proficiency with service management software, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of plumbing systems and industry best practices is highly desirable.
