American Refrigeration service coordinator works directly under the service manager and regional service managers and in parallel with the service technicians.
- Work daily with service management to ensure customers are provided highest level of service and field personnel have the information and materials to be successful.
- Review open work order report weekly, with each service manager, via email and verbal discussion. Specific focus on work orders with materials cost and no labor.
- Maintain schedule on when all PM’s and ACE inspections are to be completed. Notify regional service managers prior to the month due.
- Maintain a schedule for customer vibration and oil analysis, notify all managers when each due.
- Maintain annual calibration on the laser alignment and vibration analyzer.
- Order parts and equipment for all techs. Communicate expected lead time and arrival dates with the technicians and their appointed service manager.
- Schedule all rental equipment, communicate weekly with the technician and/or manager when pick up is required
- Track rentals on gas bottles. When the rental invoice comes in call the technician and/or manager to see if the bottles have or can be returned.
- Prepare service tech time sheets for approval.
- Prepare service quotes for all service managers and technicians
- Ensure you receive the inspection, ACE pm, purity test, ammonia calibration etc. In a timely manner and get typed and emailed back to the customer quickly.
- Follow up with customers on completed service visits. Report any positive or negative comments directly to the appointed service manager
- Communicate with project managers on job startups to ensure our service managers have enough time to schedule a technician.
- Safety coordinator roles
- Schedule all training (this could be for individual facility or annual company), work with service managers to discuss vendors to bring in.
- Contractor qualification packets for all customers requiring
- ISN network maintaining
- Ensuring techs have proper PPE, ammonia hoses, safety supplies on their vehicle
Requirements:
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in using computer software and databases for record-keeping.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
- Previous experience in a service coordination or related role is preferred.
