You Will:
The Sales Representative plays a critical role in our mission to promote and expand the reach of our high-end porcelain tile products throughout specific areas of Florida.
We are looking for a motivated and personable Sales Representative who can interact effectively with both existing and potential clients, maintain strong relationships, and present our products with confidence. You will also handle and occasionally display our porcelain tiles in client stores, ensuring that our brand is represented at the highest level.
An effective Sales Representative is proactive, organized, and has excellent communication skills. You must be comfortable managing relationships, traveling within assigned territories, and presenting product features and benefits in a compelling way. Industry experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Promote and sell our porcelain tile products within assigned territories in Florida
- Maintain regular contact with existing clients and actively pursue potential customers
- Present and demonstrate product features, including setting up tile displays in stores when necessary
- Handle porcelain tiles with care, ensuring proper presentation and product knowledge during client visits
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of product specifications, features, and benefits
- Attend trade shows, events, and in-store promotions as needed
- Report on sales activities, client feedback, and potential opportunities in the market
- Assist in identifying high-potential customers and new account opportunities
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely order processing and delivery for clients
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, orders, and follow-ups
Requirements and Skills
- Proven experience in sales or customer-facing roles (porcelain tile or similar industry preferred, but not required)
- Familiarity with porcelain tile products and the construction/design industry is a plus
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (verbal and written)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for client interaction and relationship building
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously
- Ability to work independently and travel regularly within assigned Florida territories
- Comfortable handling and showcasing porcelain tiles in retail or showroom settings
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced and changing environment
- College graduate preferred
