In this long-term contract role, you will oversee procurement activities, manage vendor relationships, and ensure efficient purchasing processes to support organizational goals. Responsibilities:
• Manage procurement processes, including purchase orders and vendor contracts, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to negotiate favorable terms and pricing.
• Monitor purchasing activities to align with organizational policies and industry standards.
• Analyze procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with internal teams to forecast procurement needs and plan accordingly.
• Ensure timely delivery of goods and services while adhering to quality requirements.
• Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and vendor offerings.
• Utilize ESB Oracle SOA tools to streamline procurement workflows and enhance operational efficiency.
• Prepare detailed reports on procurement activities and performance metrics.
• Address and resolve issues related to purchasing and vendor performance.• Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate procurement or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of purchase order management and buying processes.
• Expertise in contract negotiations and supplier relationship management.
• Familiarity with procurement functions and industry best practices.
• Proficiency in using ESB Oracle SOA or similar tools.
• Excellent analytical skills to evaluate procurement data and identify improvements.
• Effective communication and negotiation skills to work with vendors and internal teams.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
